Upon arrival in Cairo enjoy your Cairo tour by visiting the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure. Then proceed in our Cairo tour to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh (man) with a lion’s body, which dates back to the time of Chephren; the Cairo tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, facing the Pyramids of Chephren.

Lunch meal will be served at a high-quality local restaurant in Cairo.

We continue our Cairo sightseeings tour from Alexandria with the visit of The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which contains many important pieces of history. Not only does it house the world’s largest collection of Pharaoh’s antiquities, but it also houses the many treasures of King Tutankhamen and many interesting statues that moved with the museum’s many relocations. There are two main floors of the museum, the ground floor, and the first floor. On the ground floor, visitors will find an extensive collection of papyrus and coins used in the Ancient world.

Also on the ground floor are artefacts from the New Kingdom, the time period between 1550 and 1070 BC. These artefacts are generally larger than items created in earlier centuries. The first floor contains artefacts from the final two dynasties of Ancient Egypt.

Some artefacts in this area include items from the tombs of the Pharaohs Tutmosis III, Tutmosis IV, Amenophis II, Hatshepsut, and Maherpen, and also many artefacts (Tutankhamen) are taken from the well-known legendary Valley of the Kings.

After that, you will be transferred to Le Meridien hotel for check-in.

In the evening you can attend optional Cairo tours either Sound and Light show at
Pyramids or Nile cruise with dinner and belly dance show. After this impressive day, we return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Return to Alexandria port, Early breakfast and then start with your friendly Egyptologist tour guide to drive from Cairo to Alexandria. Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great in 312 B.C. and was the capital of Greco-Roman Egypt.

You will visit during Alexandria tour the catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa, a Roman burial site whose family tomb reveals the merging of Egyptian and Roman art and architecture. We are on the way to the underground to visit the tomb and Caracalla Hall. Back above ground, we continue the trip to the Pompey’s Pillar, a 25-meter-high granite column was built to honor Emperor Diocletian, who freed the besieged city and brought food to its starving people.

Continuing the Roman theme, the next site in Alexandria trip as your guide will show you is the Roman Amphitheatre, possibly the best-preserved Roman site in Egypt which also includes the remains of a Roman street and with the ancient build homes.

During our Alexandria tour, we take a break for your lunch before you will visit the famous Alexandria Library.

In contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, the Norwegian-designed building is a striking piece of modern design. The library of Alexandria houses a copy from every famous book published in the world, and also the notice of the history of Egypt and several antique books, which makes it becomes one of the great literary sites in the world.
