Luxor day trip from Dahab by flight

Itinerary

 ✅You will be taken via an air-conditioned van from your hotel in Dahab to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your flight to Luxor.

 ✅There our Egyptologist welcomes you to start our tour with the famous Karnak temple complex on the east bank of the Nile. The multi-temple complex was built over several generations. Looking at the tall pillars, one understands that it is an amazing engineering achievement and a masterpiece of architecture.

✅One of the largest pillared temples in the world is that of Amun-Ra.

✅After a tour through the huge complex, we start our second stage, the west bank. On it goes to Thebes (the name of Luxor in the time of the Pharaohs).

 ✅We cross the Nile and get an idea of ​​the fertility of the bank along the Nile as we drive through sugarcane and banana plantations to the edge of the desert where you find the tombs in the mountains of the Valley of the Kings.

 ✅Here you visit some graves in which one can admire with fascination the still best-preserved murals with the stories to the lifetime of the Pharaonen. The tombs of King Thutmosis I, the Tomb of Thutmose III, King Tutankhamen, King Ramses VI, King Merenptah and Amenhotep II are among more than 60 tombs.

 ✅Everyone has heard of Queen Hatshepsut. Its temple is perched high up in the mountains of the west bank, even lit up from the eastern shore in the evening. Climbing the terraces of the temple at the bottom of the hill gives you an idea of ​​the imposing structure of the temple of the only female pharaoh with over 20 years of rule over Egypt.

 ✅You get time for a lunch break in a local restaurant in Luxor. Enjoy Egyptian cuisine.

 ✅On the return trip, there is still a shortstop to the Memnon colossi which have been waiting there for more than 3400 years as a guard there.

✅With a lot of great impressions and some time left for a shopping tour in Luxor, it’s back to Luxor airport for the return flight to Sharm El Sheikh. From there we accompany you to the hotel in Dahab and wish you a nice stay there until the trip home.

75% balance of Luxor trip will be required in pick up from your hotel in Dahab on the trip day and can be paid by credit cards or cash

Booking of your Luxor trip will be complete and confirmed by your tour designer as soon as we receive the 25% down payment
