Itinerary

 ✅Our first step starts with the Karnak temple complex. As you walk through this vast temple complex, as many visitors before you will wonder how it was possible at the time of construction to create this enormous, monumental height of the temple’s pillars. The temple is the largest temple complex in Egypt with its 3 main temples and around 29 enclosed small temples. Unlike the Luxor Temple, we are here at a sacred site of the ancient gods.

 ✅The Luxor Temple formerly connected by an avenue to the Karnak Temple is the temple by hosting the coronation ceremonies of the Pharaohs. It is located on the edge of a beautiful promenade. From here you have a wonderful view of the west bank of the Nile, which is our next stage.

 ✅On it goes to Thebes (the name of Luxor in the time of the Pharaohs). We cross the Nile and get an idea of ​​the fertility of the bank along the Nile as we drive through sugarcane and banana plantations to the edge of the desert. With reaching the mountains, you will enter the home of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

✅You visit some graves in which one can admire with fascination the still best-preserved murals with the stories to the lifetime of the Pharaohs. The tombs of King Thutmosis I, the Tomb of Thutmose III, King Tutankhamen, King Ramses VI, King Merenptah and Amenhotep II are among more than 60 tombs.

 ✅Everyone has heard of Queen Hatshepsut. Its temple is perched high up in the mountains of the west bank, even lit up from the eastern shore in the evening. Climbing the terraces of the temple at the bottom of the hill gives you an idea of ​​the imposing structure of the temple of the only female pharaoh with over 20 years of rule over Egypt.

 ✅We take time for a lunch break in a local restaurant in Luxor. Enjoy Egyptian cuisine.

✅On the return trip, there is still a shortstop to the Memnon colossi which have been waiting there for more than 3400 years as a guard there.
