Itinerary

We will pick you up from your hotel with an air-conditioned vehicle for transfer to Hurghada airport for the flight to Cairo. After arriving in Cairo, we start with every known and fascinating pyramid of Giza. You will be astonished by the design of the tombs built more than 4500 years ago, about which the archaeologists still disagree on the origin and construction.

From here you see our second target, the Sphinx. This half human half lion statue watches over the graves with its 20m height and 57m length with a view of the valley temple

During a break, we get together for lunch in Cairo.

Afterwards, Tahrir Square, where the Egyptian revolution took place in January 2011 against Mubarak and his government, awaits you.

Here is the Egyptian Museum. With visiting a Museum feel boring?? Here certainly not. The Egyptian Museum with its approximately 150 000 objects will impress everyone. It is amazing how little tools were used to produce such precise work thousands of years ago.

Let yourself be spellbound by the most well-known find; the grave contents of the child pharaoh Tutankhamen. At the moment, a new museum is under construction, as the old building can no longer present all the finds.

Before you get the chance to rummage in the oriental bazaar of the old town, we will show you the Christian part of the city with the unique “hanging church” which got its name from its construction in the former fortress walls and the Abu Serga, the place where the sacred Family protection from persecution Herod searched.

At the end of the Cairo city tour, there is still time for optional excursions, after which we drive back to the airport for the return flight to Hurghada. We take you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam and hope that you have spent a good time with our Cairo City tour.
