The Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Citadel, Sakkara, and Memphis, the Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Kom Ombo, and Edfu Temples, the High Dam at Aswan, such as the Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Temple.

Day 1: 26th, Dec – Arrival Cairo
Our tour guide will meet you at Cairo International Airport to give you your entry visa. Then we will take you to your hotel for check-in. Relax on the first night in Cairo, or optionally take part on the incredible sound and light show at the Pyramids.
Day 2: 27th, Dec – Giza Sightseeing Tours
After a leisurely breakfast, your private Egyptologist will take you to Sakkara, part of the huge necropolis of Memphis. Here you find the tombs of the oldest pharaohs and the first pyramids built in Egypt, also the stepped pyramid of King Djoser, designed by Imhotep, the ancient Egyptian architect, and Teti pyramid. Afterwards, relax while we drive to the famous Giza Plateau with its biggest attractions, the three pyramids, the great Cheops of Middle Chephren and smaller Mykerinos Pyramid.
Here you get time for a camel ride and photos in front of the pyramids. Next step, we visit the famous Sphinx, which you can admire after visiting the Valley Temple. Optionally, there is a tour to the boat, which has transported the mummy of the Pharaoh across the Nile. Back to the hotel, you spend another night in Cairo.
Day 3: 28th, Dec 2016 – Cairo Sightseeing Tours – Aswan
Your third day starts with breakfast, following with a day tour to the world-famous Egyptian Antiquities Museum, built in the neoclassical style of the French architect Marcel Dourgnon, covering a collection of over 150,000 masterpieces from the predynastic, Pharaonic, and Greco-Roman periods in Egypt.
Here you have the opportunity to visit the sarcophagus, as well as the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, other pharaonic gods and goddesses. In addition, you will have the option to visit the mummy rooms in the Egyptian Museum, where you will learn all about Egyptian civilization and the art of mummification in ancient Egypt.
Follow us to the Citadel of Saladin, from where you have an overlook above the city from the Muqattam Hills. Admire the Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which is very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey. It is considered one of the landmarks of Cairo.
Continue to the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo, including some of the city’s early religious monuments, such as the hanging or floating church, named after its location, and the famous Jewish heritage in Cairo, the Ben Ezra Synagogue. This contains a Jewish library, with documents found here in 1896.
After this impressive Cairo tour, we will take you to Giza train station to board the sleeper compartment of the train to Aswan and spend the night aboard the train as we drive to Aswan.
Day 4: 29th, Dec – Aswan, New Year Cruise
After breakfast on the train, our guide will meet you at Aswan Station upon your arrival.
From here we take you to the ship where your New Year’s cruise starts. Your lunch will be on board the cruise ship and afterwards, the free time is available to you until the afternoon.
In the afternoon we offer a trip with the felucca around Kitchener’s Island. Back to the ship, you will stay overnight in Aswan.
Day 5: 30th, Dec – New Year Cruise – Aswan Sightseeing Tours
Enjoy breakfast on board the luxurious cruise ship, followed by a guided tour to the High Dam (Aswan Dam), the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk.
Back to the cruise ship, go on to Kom Ombo. Your lunch will be taken on board the ship. Once in Kom Ombo, visit the temples of the two gods Sobek and Haeroris.
Back on the ship, enjoy the afternoon tea, as well as dinner on board. Relax with a quiet overnight stay on board in Edfu.
Day 6: 31st, Dec – New Year Celebration Cruise
Have breakfast aboard the luxury Nile cruise, followed by a guided tour to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, and later you will be taken back to the cruise ship.
Spend your free time on board the cruise including lunch. Enjoy your afternoon tea on the sundeck while sailing to Luxor.
On Board in Luxor, you will celebrate the New Year with an exclusive GALA DINNER, followed by overnight.
Day 7: 1st, JAN – New Year Cruise – Luxor tours
With best wishes for the New Year, we welcome you for breakfast on board the luxury Nile cruise ship.
Visit with us the West Bank of the Nile, with the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in El-Deir El-Bahari.
For lunch, you will be back on board and then taken to the east bank to visit the famous Karnak & Luxor temples.
In time for the afternoon tea and to relax, you will be back on board. In the evening we serve you a spread dinner, followed by overnight in Luxor aboard the luxury Nile Cruise ship.
Day 8: 2nd, JAN – Disembarkation – Luxor – Cairo
You will have your breakfast on board the luxurious Nile Cruise ship in Luxor before you leave. We accompany you to the airport of Luxor for your flight to Cairo and direct transfer to your hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 9: 3rd, JAN – Cairo / fly back to Home
After your breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel for the transfer to Cairo airport for your flight home.
